MR. RANJAN MONDAL

HOD OF HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT, BBA( HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT), MBA( HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT)

I am RanjanMondal, Faculty of Hospital Management at CIHHM Foundation. Earlier I started my career as an HR executive at Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, Kolkata and other reputed organization.

Training is an essential part of professional education. Training is the only method where students can compare their theoretical knowledge with practical knowledge. It is an good way to upgrade their skills in a controlled environment. In training the students exactly do what professionals do. Industries always prefer trained employees rather than fresher. In Hospitality industries there are ample of job opportunities but lacks trained manpower.

Before sending students in training we send them to various industries to experience the environment along with types are activities carried out there. Apart from that we also give students various in house supportive practical exposes, so that they could adapt themselves with that training.

We develop knowledge, manners, attitudes and etiquettes among students which enhances high employability.

I am Mrinmoy Pal, a Hospitality Professional with more than two decades of experience in Hotel Industry in India and abroad in various position till Executive Chef (Head of the Department)with various companies – like Oberoi group of hotels –Jaipur,Udaipur,Taj group of Hotels(Bangalore), Shangri-la-New Delhi, Hyatt International(Chennai and Ahmadabad) ,Radisson Blu(Navi Mumbai) and Accor Group of hotel-(Novotel Visakhapatnam) are a few of those .

I was the Certified Trainer for the Taj Group of Hotels( Bangalore), Hyatt Regency-Chennai, Accor group of hotel to take the departmental staff training for their skill enhancement and

Certified Hotel Food Safety and Hygiene audit trainer.

I was gone through culinary tour in Europe for certification by World Association of Chefs Organization (WACS), Milan in Italy.

A Hotel Management Professional with a Bachelor degree from the Calcutta University, Mrinmoy spent more than two decades in Hotel Industry in India and abroad in various position till Executive Chef with various companies - like Oberoi ,Taj, Shangri-la, Hyatt ,Radisson Blu and Novotel are a few of those . He is certified chef by World Association of Chefs Organization from Italy. He has been awarded quite a few prestigious accolades – Outstanding chef award Cognito Mumbai, Final Contenders for the best Chef in Accor group of hotel India and Finally he was awarded the CHEF OF THE YEAR in India 5 STAR category by Hotelier India-2017. At present, he is working as Operation Head- Hotel and Hospitality Management at CIHHM. He manages all students educational activity, developing the modern trend and sharing to students ,simultaneously involved for the organizational growth by sharing his experience and thought process.
